At Stain, we handcraft only unreplicable single piece and limited edition designs. Our textiles are handpicked, always in small batches from our travels. From that we create high quality signature sarees at our studio in Shillong. Sarees are created, one piece at a time, slowly and meticulously. Stain is a passion project of our 78 year old founder. We are here for our patrons to explore our bespoke collections and maybe find something they truly love.
We love making sarees with our own hands. Our design processes reflect the pace and nuance of our small town life and we have found a way to preserve that in the spirit of our enterprise. Our patrons too value our process as much as they do our craftsmanship. We started Stain for the love of handcrafting sarees and that remains the cornerstone of our venture.
